Andrea Benvenuti

Andrea has over 24 years of professional experience in development, design, construction and asset management.

He is a qualified member of the RICS and holds a degree in engineering. Since 2011 he has been responsible for the development and construction of the new generation buildings of Amazon in Europe (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Czech and UK) totalling more than 8,000,000 sqf.

Prior to joining Amazon he was Head of Southern Europe Project Management in Prologis from 2003 to 2008, where he developed circa 5,000,000 sq ft of speculative and built-to-suit logistics buildings.

PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT TRACK RECORD

From 2003 to 2008 Andrea has been responsible for the technical development of the most important speculative and built-to-suit  projects in Italy for Prologis for major clients such as Ceva Logistics, NYK Logistics and Huhtamaki.

From 2007 to 2008 Andrea was responsible for coordination of the Southern Europe project management team of Prologis.

From 2012 to 2015 Andrea held the position of Head of European Design and Construction for Amazon managing a team of six people across Europe. During this period he managed the design and construction of 800,000 SQM of e-commerce Fulfilment Centres in Europe. The most challenging and successful project has been the design, construction and launch of three warehouses in the same year in Poland and one in Czech Republic (123,000 SQM each).

DEVELOPMENT TRACK RECORD

From 2006 to 2008 Andrea was responsible for managing the Italian branch of Prologis. During this period he completed the development of a 32,000 SQM building in Rome for Coop and in 2007 he commenced the development of a 13,000 SQM built-to-suit in Turin for the packaging company Huhtamaki.
