ASSET MANAGEMENT TRACK RECORD
In his roles at Goodman, Kristof Verstraeten has actively been involved
shaping and executing the strategy of the flagship GELF fund (Goodman
European Logistics Fund).
From 2008 – 2011 he was responsible for the acquisitions and sales of
the fund, through his role of European Head of Capital Transactions.
From 2009 onwards he combined this with the overall responsibility for
the German operation at Goodman. During this period, the German
logistics portfolio achieved 100% occupancy and the non-core office
assets were disposed successfully.
From the end of 2011 until April 2013, Kristof was responsible for the
overall operations of Goodman in Europe, including all development,
asset management and property services teams in 11 countries. During
this period he oversaw projects to streamline the asset management
processes as well as several large lease renegotiations and extensions
(e.g. Kuhne-Nagel portfolio in FR).
Through his work in project development and asset management, Kristofhas
kept close contacts to the leading occupiers in the European Logistics
sector such as DHL, DSV, Kuhne-Nagel, Amazon, Zalando, etc.
DEVELOPMENT TRACK RECORD
In his roles as MD of Logistics Capital Partners (formerly Ictinus Management) and at Goodman, Kristof Verstraeten has actively been involved in developments and lead development teams for the construction of over 1,5mio SQM of Logistics Warehouses in the last 5 years. Under his management, Goodman became the largest logistics developer in Europe (Property EU Ranking).
His experience covers financing and funding, legal matters, contracting, technical design, project management and risk mitigation. More specifically, most of the projects Kristof was involved in were complex Built-to-Suit projects on tight timelines requiring strong project management and risk management skills.
